Major oxidation product is elemental sulphur. 4. Respiration is aerobic (oxygen respiration). 5. Genera: Chlorflexus (from hot springs), Chloronema. 6. Chloroflexus is primarily organotrophic. It can grow chemoorganotrophically under aerobic conditions in the dark or light.
