Phage - Of the seven coliphages of the T series, three are known as the T-even phages (T2, T4, T6) and four as the T-odd phages (T1, T3, TS, T7). The best-known member of the large virulent bacteriophages is the coliphage T4. The T4 phage, contains five substructures, the head, head tail connector, tail, baseplate and tail fibres.
