Phage T4 - Multiplication Cycle

Phage T4 - Multiplication Cycle
- The viral multiplication cycle begins with the adsorption of the virion to the host cell and ends with the release of newly synthesized progeny viruses.

It includes an eclipse period, during which there is phage nucleic acid replication and protein synthesis, and a maturation period during which there is morphogenesis of phage particles from DNA and proteins.
