Phages - The E. coli RNA phages (over 30) fall into three, or possibly four, serological subgroups.
The Group IRN A. phages attach to the F-pili of E. coli and include f2, MS2, Rt7, M 12, fr and FH5. The first four phages are closely related. fr is less closely related.Group III includes QB. RNA phages infecting Pseudomonas and Caulobacter have also been isolated.
