complex.
Some
stages
in
life
cycle
resemble
bacterial
or
fungal
spores
due
to
which
they
owe
this
name.
They
are
non
motile;
occasionally,
forms
in
life
cycle
have
flagella
or
pseudopodia,
which
are
short
lived.
Adults
are
non
motile.
Most
members
of
this
group
are
parasites.
Two
members,
those
of
malaria
and
toxoplasmosis
are
noteworthy.
