Short Term Regulation By Heterogeneous Nuclear RNA
The heterogeneous nuclear RNAs which act as precursor molecules for mRNA molecules in eukaryotic nucleus are found to function as short-term regulatory molecules to influence gene transcription in cleaved or uncleaved het RNA states. They are degraded shortly after they are synthesized so that a new spectrum of regulatory RNA molecules could be rapidly elicited with the proper stimulus.
