Coupled Neutral Pump OR Sodium Potassium Exchange Pump
The coupled neutral pump,also called the sodium potassium exchange pump is an active transport system in which the transport of Na-t and K+ is linked.

The outward movement of Na+ is always accompanied by an inward movement of K+. In an idealized neutral pump one: K+ is exchanged for one Na+. Among the cells known to have the coupled neutral pump, nerve and muscle cells are prominent
