Microorganism Controlling by Direc t Flame -

This method is used in the process of incineration, employed in the laboratory to sterilise the

bacteriological loop and needle before removing a sample from a culture tube and after preparing a smear.

The tip of tube is also flamed to destroy microbes which may contact it.
