Species Diversity Indices (SDI)
Several mathematical methods that describe the species richness are called Species Diversity Indices (SDI) which are used to describe the assemblage of species diversity within a community. But SDI cannot be applied to the microbial community due to technical difficulties (quantitatively the data is insufficient).
