Adaptions

Adaptions-
(i) that bacteria give rise to bacteria, and
(ii) that environmental factors can affect bacterial behaviour.
The latter was called as "adaptation". For example, a bacterium that would not grow on a certain medium would do so after a while. This sort of adaptation was found to occur without any change in the genetic material.
