Cytokinins
Under favourable conditions, Azotobacter and Azospirillum are known to produce cytokinins in the rhizosphere along with other plant growth regulators. Other bacteria that produce cytokinins or cytokinin-like sub­stances come under the genera Agro acterium, Arthrobacter, Bacillus, Corynebacterium, Escherichia, Pseudomonas and Rhizobium.
