Measurements with Opticals Microscope

Measurements with optical microscope:
The limit of resolution with the best available optical microscope is 0.2 microns. In general, the smaller the size of object to be measured, the greater is the error likely to be. It has been observed that even measurements of object as long as 3-4 microns may involve considerable errors. Object in the millimeter range can also be measured with the help of microscope. There are four general types of measurements like (1) linear, (2) volume or thickness, (3) area and (4) angles.
