cytoplasmic
ribosomes

rRNA
in
the
small
subunit,
and
25S
and
5.88
rRNAs
in
the
large
subunit.
The
ratio
of
chloroplast
ribosomal
23S
RNA
to
16S
RNA
is
2:
1.
With
respect
to
their
RNA
components,
the
ribosomes
of
chloroplasts
resemble
those
of
bacteria.
