reaction
in
which
antigens
and
antibodies
neutralise
each
other.
The
reaction
is
used
to
identify
toxins
and
antitoxins,
as
well
as
viruses
and
viral
antibodies.
An
example
is
the
detection
of
botulism
toxin
in
food.
