Rapid Method of Robinow
This method (3) is less time consuming than the earlier one. The technique is as under. Immerse unfixed and air dried impression smear in 0.2N HCI at boiling temperature for 5 seconds. Rinse in tap water for several times. Stain with 0.1 % crystal violet. Air dry and observe under oil-immersion objective. Nuclear structure will appear purple in colour.
