AIDS
This
is
also
called AIDS
related
complex (ARC)
or Lymph
node
syndrome (LNS)
or Lymph
adenopathy
syndrome (LAS).
This
group
has
a
milder
form
of
the
disease
with
fever,
diarrhoea.
weight
loss
and
enlarged
lymph
glands
but
they
show
unequivocal
evidence
of
depression
of
immune
system.
Sometimes
the
prodrome
may
be
associated
with
some
fungal
infections
of
skin
or
inside
(mucosa)
the
mouth,
warts
and
herpes.
This
phase
may
last
for
I
-30
months
(even
upto
5
years).
It
is
seen
that
all
cases
of
prodromal
phase
may
not
progress
to
a
full
fledged
disease.
but
some
20-30%
do
in
the
next
three
years
or
so.
