Aerated Ponds

Aerated Ponds - Aerated ponds are of less common use when compared to other oxidation ponds. They utilize floating aerators to maintain dissolved oxygen levels and to provide mixing. Retention times for these ponds are a few days. The process involves bacterial floc and produces good quality effluent.
