Sewarage
System -
Sewerage
is
a
system
of
sewers
and
ancillary
works
to
convey
sewage
from
its
point
of
origin
to
a
treatment
plant
or
to
other
places
of
disposal.
Sewer
is
a
pipeline
to
carry
sewage
or
other
wastes
and
not
normally
flowing
full.
There
are
three
kinds
of
sewerage
systems.
(a) Sanitary sewers: which carry domestic and industrial waste water; (b) Storm sewers designed to carry off surface and storm (atmospheric) water; (c) Combined sewers: which carryall wastewaters through a single system of sewers.
